For those who have asked for another way to support Gatsby beyond buying merch, this donation option is for you. Whether big or small, your kindness is making a real difference in Gatsby’s recovery journey. Thank you for being part of his story. ❤️🐾

During a routine follow-up visit at UC Davis this past November, the doctors noticed something very small on Gatsby’s scan. It was too tiny to evaluate at the time, so we waited and monitored it closely. When we returned in February, it had grown slightly—just enough for them to perform a biopsy. The results confirmed that it is cancer, though this time it is a different type of nasal cancer than the one Gatsby had before.

The good news is that we caught it early, before Gatsby has developed any symptoms. Right now he is still the same happy, thriving corgi everyone loves.

The oncology team at UC Davis recommends daily low-dose radiation therapy for a little over a month to treat the cancer while it’s still small. Starting treatment early gives Gatsby the best chance for another good outcome, just like last time.

Asking for help again isn’t easy, but the truth is that the support from all of you is the reason Gatsby is still here today. Because of your generosity during his first treatment, we were given more than three extra years filled with walks, adventures, and cuddles.

If you’re able to help again, your donation will go toward Gatsby’s care, including:
  • CT scans and diagnostic imaging
  • The biopsy procedure
  • A month-long course of daily radiation therapy
  • Medications and supportive care
  • Travel expenses for daily trips to UC Davis
  • Ongoing treatment from UC Davis’s oncology team

My plan is to make the trip to UC Davis each day so Gatsby can still come home and sleep in his own bed every night, surrounded by comfort and love.

Gatsby means the world to us, and I'm so grateful for any support—whether that’s a donation, sharing his story, or simply keeping him in your thoughts.

Many of you have followed Gatsby’s journey over the years and helped us through his first fight with nasal cancer. Because of that support—and the incredible care from the team at UC Davis—Gatsby received radiation treatment that gave us something priceless: more time together. It has now been over 3.5 wonderful years since his first treatment, and every day with him has felt like a gift.

Thank you for continuing to stand with Gatsby.
